I'm officially not full time anymore! Even though I gave my notice for July 31, I agreed to stay on part time to complete a few projects and train the new person.
It is my goal to blog here at least 3 times per week, and I hope to hear from others in my situation.
We are starting school at home on August 19 and we are all eXciTeD!!
I am also surprisingly calm...I am trusting in the Lord to provide my family's needs.
My oldest baby (she's 11) has been vacationing in Michigan with my family since the beginning of July. She is coming back this weekend and I can't wait, I've missed her so much!
My mom is bringing her back, and my mom is my last major "hurdle" to our new lifestyle. I haven't "officially" told my mom about the homeschooling, but my daughter has mentioned it. My mom keeps asking me and I put her off. My mom is so judgmental and thinks that I just need to work. I'm trying to prepare myself, because she's been known to make hurtful comments.

This is a journal of my journey from working full time to becoming a full time mommy. As of the creation of this blog, November 18, 2007, I work full time. I have recently been convicted that I need to be home full time with my three children. I will be making a plan to gradually leave full time employment. I hope to hear from those who support me in this, as I think this will not be an easy transition, especially financially.
